These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Papers! application ("the App") developed by Out of Range Studio ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Papers! is a document vault app that allows you to scan, store, and organize personal documents on your device. You may use the App for lawful, personal purposes only. You are responsible for all content you store in the App.
The App offers a free tier with limited functionality and optional paid subscriptions ("Papers! Pro") available as monthly, yearly, or lifetime purchases through Apple's App Store.
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Out of Range Studio and are protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of any documents and content you store in the App.
If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for data loss or unavailability caused by iCloud service disruptions.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use the App at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Out of Range Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, documents, profits, or revenue arising from your use of the App.
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your documents. While the App provides backup and export features, we are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, software issues, or user error.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
